NFPA 80 code 5.2.1 states: “Fire Door assemblies shall be inspected and tested not less than annually, and a written record of the inspection shall be signed and kept for review/verification by the AHJ.”

NFPA 80 code 5.2.3.1 states: “Functional testing of the Fire Door and window assemblies shall be performed by individuals with knowledge and understanding of the operating components of the type of door being subject to testing.”

• Fire Door Inspections - At BRAND, we exceed the minimum 11 inspection requirements outlined in NFPA 80 code 5.2.4.2, ensuring a more thorough assessment of your fire doors.
• Fire Door Repairs - Our Certified Fire Door Repair technicians perform all fire door repairs to code standards. Repairing fire doors is technical and precise work that requires a unique skill set and considerable training. Certification is required by code. Our Fire Door Repair Team is highly qualified and trained to meet compliance standards.
• Fire Door Labeling - Labels on fire doors, fire door frames, or other components of a fire door assembly identify that the fire door or component has been tested and passed the criteria required by those test standards. Fire door labels should not be removed, defaced, or made illegible while the fire door is in service. Our Fire Door Inspectors and Repair Technicians hold formal training and certificates of competency in NFPA 80, certified through DHI, DSI, and Doit. Our Labeling Professionals are certified through ANAB. Importantly, all of BRAND’s door personnel are in-house employees, ensuring consistency and quality in our services.
