Meet The Director Of Healthcare Compliance – Brad Farris

Brad Farris is a Life Safety and Fire Protection professional with 17 years of experience in healthcare regulatory compliance, passive fire protection systems, inspection services, and continuing education. He helps hospitals, healthcare systems, commercial facilities, government agencies, and institutional clients interpret and maintain compliance with NFPA standards, CMS Conditions of Participation, accreditation requirements, state regulations, and Authority Having Jurisdiction requirements.

As Director of Healthcare Services for BRAND SERVICES, Brad leads healthcare compliance services for organizations across the United States. His work includes Life Safety Assessments, Statement of Conditions documentation, regulatory consulting, education, and technical support related to The Joint Commission Physical Environment requirements, CMS, state departments of public health, and other accreditation organizations.

Brad also led BRAND SERVICES through its successful IACET accreditation, helping establish a nationally recognized continuing-education program. As an instructor and curriculum developer, he creates practical, code-based training on NFPA 101, life safety, and healthcare regulatory compliance for facility managers, engineers, contractors, inspectors, and healthcare professionals.

An active member of NFPA, ASHE, and Door Opening Industry Training, Brad remains engaged with evolving codes, standards, and industry best practices. His work focuses on helping organizations reduce life-safety risk, strengthen sustainable compliance programs, and support safe patient care and operational readiness.

Brad is also a proud United States Coast Guard veteran. His service supporting operations in New York City following the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks reinforced the commitment to public safety, emergency preparedness, leadership, and service that continues to guide his work today.
