Founded in 1994, BRAND SERVICES has focused on providing passive fire protection and environment of care services to a host of industries throughout its history. Over time we have evolved into a multi-service fire protection and code compliance company specializing in healthcare facilities and commercial construction markets with an emphasis on life safety and property safety. As a full-service fire protection & life safety service company, our technicians have extensive training and certifications. All managers and technicians are OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 certified, Confined Space, HAZCOM, Asbestos Awareness, Damper trained/certified and all material manufacturer trained. Our HRC team members and Healthcare Project Managers have all received NFPA 101 Life Safety Training 2012, NFPA 99 2012 training. Our Fire Door technicians have received NFPA 80 classroom training.
We are in continual cycles for training and certifications for all our staff. As industry codes change, BRAND helps our clients understand and adapt to those changes by providing them code guidance and assurance that we are providing our services to meet all current codes.
BRAND SERVICES is a proud recipient of the FM 4991 certification. With this certification, BRAND is held to a higher standard than non-accredited contractors, which include passing annual Factory Mutual audits, mandatory continuing educations and random on site testing. This is a highly-respected industry accreditation and this certification is often made a requirement by architects to assure a building is constructed using a professional firestop contractor. We are the only firestop contractor awarded this certification in CT and one of a few in New England.
