In January BRAND’s Pennsylvania division completed the first phase of its annual systems service training. The purpose of this annual event is to assure that all service technicians are familiar with the latest code changes, inspection and repair procedures, equipment technology upgrades and reporting requirements. In addition, each class addresses OSHA safety requirements, and the safety and proper usage of tools and equipment.
To address the need to support BRAND’s growing Healthcare Statement of Condition survey business, BRAND’s Connecticut division conducted an extensive seminar and inspector training class on the process and requirements of conducting Statement of Condition inspections and surveys that address Code and Joint Commission criteria. This program is designed to address Code changes, new data acquisition techniques, PFI processing and Just in Time corrective action procedures. Phase two of the program is scheduled for the second quarter of 2012.
